2015 NBA Offseason

Postby Art Vandaley » Thu Jun 25, 2015 6:18 pm

Draft tonight, FA around the corner.

My favorite thing that just happened is that Luke Ridnour has been a member of 4 teams in the last 3 days and Matt Barnes 3 teams. Very much like trades in our league.

He's been on 4 different teams in the past 24 hours!

I wish we got Okafor over Taps, but after the THJr trade I am happy with things so far for the Knicks

Crossing my fingers that the Sixers added Boogie to go with their 3 young bigs so they can field a Cannon, Okafor, Boogie, Nerlens and Embiid starting 5.

Disappoint. I do like that Nik Staukus will be getting big minutes this year. No idea why I like that but I do.

Me too, I'm a fan of Staukus, he had a rough rookie year but the kings aren't exactly the best environment for a young guy to develop. I think with more minutes and structure he can become a pretty good pro.

Love it. Was too strange to sit through an entire draft without Hinkie doing something bold. Just took a week longer than expected. Also love that this deal was made with cap space and second round picks, two things the anti-Hinkie crowd always give him shit for.

I am lukewarm on the Derrick Williams deal, very happy with RoLo and Kendrick Lamar's favorite player, but this O'Quinn deal is easily my favorite.

Knicks are retooling slowly and doing it the right way. Fit over flash, scheme over scoring. Going to take a few seasons but I'm loving this so far.

Ty Lawson to Houston if Lawson can work through his alcohol issue could be a great move for the Rockets. Hopefully for his life's sake he is able to get the help he needs.
